Discover how the strategy for antibody testing has been changed for steadily increasing haploidentical transplant patients for the last few years at the City of Hope Medical Center. Our leading transplant physician will talk about patient management with HLA antibody testing in mismatched hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). We will also discuss the latest publications on the role of HLA antibody in HCT. The last section of presentation focuses on technical strategy for HLA antibody detection that includes semi-automation of antibody test with microplate washer method, and troubleshooting for prozone/inhibition effect in comparison among different new and old treatment agents and dilutions.
