Our popular LABType^® SSO typing tests are now available in multiples of 20-test kits. This increased flexibility in packaging allows you to order only what you need--reducing disposal of expired product.

Look for the new 20-test kits in the July 2009 price list, along with 40 and 100 test kits. They're easy to identify. Twenty-test kits have a T in the catalog ID, and 40-test kits have an F.

However, please note that our 40-test kits will be phased out by the end of 2009.

MICRO SSP™ Trays Reformatted for Higher Resolution

As new lots are introduced over the next several months, many Micro SSP™ Allele Specific trays will be reformatted to accommodate additional alleles. The current tray formats cannot accommodate additional primers. To address this limitation, most trays will be converted to a two-test per tray format, or eight tests per package. A few trays will be converted to one-test per tray, or four tests per package.

The newly formatted trays will have catalog IDs that contain letter R; they will be flagged on the product page with 1 or 2 tests per tray highlighted in italic, boldface type. 

There will be a transition period in which the current catalog IDs and lots will be retained in inventory in case of special needs. If you have need for the old format lots, which will not contain the new primers, please contact your One Lambda representative.

To use Micro SSP™ trays with an R in the catalog ID, please refer to Table 2 of the Micro SSP™ Reference Table. The table is reproduced here for your convenience. Note, also, that D-mix volumes will be printed on the tray labels of products with the new R catalog IDs.
