HLA Fusion™ Version 1.3 
Makes its Debut 

Fusion 1.3 is now available! Responding to the changes and enhancements requested by the HLA Fusion™ user community, we designed Fusion 1.3 to offer many new capabilities that give greater functionality to the software. 

This new release is even easier to use and provides several new features and an enhanced report module. With Fusion 1.3, users migrating from HLA Visual and HLA Tools™ to Fusion will see a noticeable  increase in the speed of migration. And, new functionality has been added to the LABScreen^®, LABType^®, Micro SSP™, Sample Management, Reporting and Profile Management modules. 

New Features

Track a Patient’s Antibody Profile over Time
This new feature lets you display antibody signal strength for a number of patients over a period of time. You can display the results with different types of graphs and also in an exportable data table. This is particularly valuable in the post-transplant period when you are monitoring a patient for early signs of rejection.

LABScreen® Analysis Enhancements 

• Ability to set user defined cut-offs for Single Antigen (SA) products
• Ability to make allelic antibody assignments
• W6-32 normalization
• Donor PRA – PRA  calculation based on final antibody assignments using donor typing.

User Profile Management 
This module features an enhanced user profile and roles.

Enhanced Report Module
The FUSION 1.3 Report Module has many new features. These include:

• User-defined data export: Users have the ability to customize the format in which data is exported by setting up templates.

• Customize report: Users have the ability to customize the reports in the HLA Fusion software. You can change the look and feel, remove columns, change size and location, etc., on the fly. To use this feature, you will need to purchase Crystal Report Designer software separately. It is automatically integrated into the HLA Fusion Reporting module when it is installed.
• My Favorites option: This menu option in the Reports window allows you to save as many as 18 report formats for quick access.

• Changes to the user interface of the Reports window: These changes make navigation and use of the report features more intuitive and also allow sorting of data.
• New reports available: 
  • Customizable Micro SSP™ report
  • Swiss Lab LABScreen Exports: Exports LABScreen results in a CSV format
  • Antibody Reaction Report: Exports antibody reaction data in CSV format 
  • NMDP Code Report: Exports all missing XX codes for a selected session in CSV format
• Multiple enhancements to existing reports

Retrieve Password
You can easily recover a forgotten password using Fusion’s new “Forgot Password” option. Simply answer the two security questions that were saved with your user profile. This lets you access your account without delay even when you have a temporary memory lapse.
